6:00 AM: Depart from Arusha and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. The drive is about 2-3 hours, depending on road conditions.

7:30 AM: Arrive at the crater rim and descend into the crater floor. The descent takes about 45 minutes.

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Game drive in the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, and wildebeests. Your driver-guide will take you to the best spots to see animals, and you will also have plenty of time to stop and take photos.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Picnic lunch at a scenic spot in the crater.

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Continue your game drive and explore other areas of the crater floor.

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Ascend the crater rim and return to Arusha. The ascent takes about 30 minutes.

5:00 PM: Arrive in Arusha.
