Day 1

Morning: Take an early morning flight from Arusha, Dar es Salaam, or Mwanza to Msembe airstrip inside Ruaha National Park.
Upon arrival, be greeted by your pre-arranged transfer and head towards your chosen lodge/camp in the southern sector of the park. Enjoy a relaxing lunch and take in the beautiful scenery.
Afternoon: Embark on your first game drive, exploring the southern plains and woodlands. This area is known for its high concentration of giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and impalas. Keep an eye out for predators like lions and cheetahs, as well as bat-eared foxes and jackals.
Evening: As the sun sets, enjoy a delicious dinner at your lodge/camp and share stories about your sightings with fellow travelers. Relax by a bonfire under the star-studded African sky.

Day 2

Morning: Rise with the sun and head out for a thrilling game drive. This time, venture deeper into the southern sector, exploring lesser-visited areas known for their unique sightings. You might encounter elephants, buffaloes, and even the occasionally spotted wild dog.
Afternoon: After a picnic lunch in the wilderness, head towards the Ruaha River. Take a boat cruise along the river, enjoying the beautiful scenery and spotting crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of birdlife.
Alternatively, depending on your lodge/camp's location, you could go for a guided bush walk in the afternoon. This offers a unique perspective of the park's flora and fauna, allowing you to see smaller creatures and insects you might miss on a game drive.
Evening: Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and spend the evening relaxing or participating in night game drives (offered by some lodges), where you can spot nocturnal animals like lions on the prowl.

- Enjoy a morning game drive, revisiting your favorite spots or exploring new areas.
- Go for a guided nature walk, focusing on the park's diverse plant life and birdlife.
- Relax at your lodge/camp, soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings.
Afternoon: Depending on your flight schedule, take a transfer back to Msembe airstrip and catch your return flight.
